To nurture your little one, the British Council, world’s largest English language institution, has announced Holiday Camp – exciting new compact courses to develop leadership and life skills for your kids. The courses have been created specifically for young learners (between the age group of 7-14 years) in India to sharpen their English language proficiency in a short period of time.
Highlights of the Programme
The team of English experts at the British Council has designed the new courses keeping in mind the upcoming school-holiday season. The innovative format takes into consideration the ‘realistic’ time that young learners will be able to devote to any kind of new learning exercise around Christmas and new year holidays.
Holiday Camp will offer specially designed English teaching methodology, a curated curriculum, and a unique hands-on experiential learning approach.
The programme aims to increase retention and improve all-round learner output through interactive and personalised modules delivered in a safe environment.
The courses will help your child:
- gain confidence in expressing themselves in English, through debates and discussions
- experience creative thinking through interactive and fun activities
- improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- develop a love of learning through collaboration
The teaching methodologies for these young learners are task-based and focused on real-life activities to face the competitive world and structure the personality. Classes are delivered through the interactive way which let the children learn through fun and play
Schedules and Information
The Holiday camp classes will happen in 2 batches with 10 hours consolidated program over 4 days. Schedules are as followings: –
- Batch 1 starts from 21 Dec 2019 – 24 Dec 2019
- Batch 2 starts from 27 Dec 2019 – 30 Dec 2019
Eligible age criteria – Children from 7 to 14 years can apply for this programme.
